Our main focus at Four Mile Farm is to raise dairy goats for the
fantastic milk and cheese and Boer wethers for 4-H. We also raise
all of our own meat. (Pork, chicken, and cabrito, as well as venison
from hunting.) We try to have a large garden every year, although sometimes that does not work out very well. In the Fall of 2008, we added a new guardian to our ranch - the infamous and brilliant Liberty dog! Liberty is a solid white Great Pyrenees from our friends at Galloping Winds Ranch. Guarding livestock is a natural instinct for Liberty because she comes from a long line of working dogs. She does a great job of watching over all of our goats and her other charges.
